Another dance, based on Bees in the Shower, but a bit more "forgiving"
is the following.
Enjoy!

Bumbling Showers
by Eric Smith
Contra/Becket-CW
A1 -----------
Long Lines forward and back
Gents allemande left once and a half
A2 -----------
Neighbor Balance and Swing
B1 -----------
Ladies chain
pass through across, turn individually to the right 1/4
Single file (lady in the lead) along the lines to new neighbors (face
center)
B2 -----------
Circle left once with these new neighbors*
Partner Swing
*The women are actually on partner's left in these circles, so the
flow into the swing is great. At the ends, couples should wait out on
the left diagonal with women on the left; however, should they forget,
once they circle and swing, all will be fine.

Men allemand left halfway (to ocean wave)
Balance & Swg Neighbor
Men Alm Lft all the way (once)
Pass N by right, women pass left & gypsy Once plus with partner (to
flow into a circle, men in front)
Circle Left once
Pass Thru across, curve to the right to circle left once with NEW
neighbors
Swing partner on the side.
Jim writes: "This dance was written during American Week at Pinewoods
Camp one year when the best showers in the camp were unusable because
a nest of yellow-jackets had taken up residence in them.
What makes the dance nice is its flow, first from the gypsy into the
circle, and then on into the pass thru (which I think works best if it
is treated like a half gypsy, crossing over with the neighbor who is
opposite you in the circle). The smooth flow is completed if the
dancers gradually CURVE to the right and down the side two steps or so
and then continue the CURVE right into the circle with the new
neighbors!
Also, be sure to stess to the men that they have half AND full left
allemands at the top of the A's."

Hi folks -
No, I'm not yowling for help. :-)
I've been doing reciprocal dance trades with an English caller. She
wants to
call the contradance "Bees in the Shower." A search shows its
author as Jim
Kitch. Do any of you know how it goes?
Thanks!
Tina
