Yeah, it's pretty close.
Side-note: Callers Box doesn't seem to like "circulate", which is why I
asked here.
I've been looking for solid Box Circulate dances that aren't the same 3 or
4, and are a tad easier so I can swap 'em in, or put them in a medley.
This one's similar enough to a couple Rory dances as well.
Any other close dances / matches?

Careful with Blizzard Chimney, it has a swing ending in the middle of the
phrase. Plagiarist's Reel is what came up in my search from your original
description, which is similar but without that issue.

Yeah, it's pretty close.
Side-note: Callers Box doesn't seem to like "circulate", which is why
I asked here.
I've been looking for solid Box Circulate dances that aren't the same
3 or
4, and are a tad easier so I can swap 'em in, or put them in a medley.
This one's similar enough to a couple Rory dances as well.
Any other close dances / matches?

reason!
I just inverted Bob’s Read between the lines. And I used a slide and circle instead of a
circle and pass through.

Du Quoin Races also has a swing that ends mid-phrase. Dancers tend not to like to end
those when the choreographer wants them to.

Not a beginner dance or one to put in a medley, but... inspired by the need
to fix the mid-phrase swing in Du Quoin Races, I wrote this, which I called
"Dreamland Races":

It keeps most of Du Quoin intact, but I thought the rollaway progression
was novel enough that it was worth naming it as its own dance.
Isaac Banner has written a bunch of great box-circulate dances, a few of
which are on the simpler side. Lake City Crossing (
https://contradb.com/dances/1498) and Higgs Boson (
https://contradb.com/dances/876) are pretty approachable; a newer one
Bobbing for Isaacs (https://contradb.com/dances/2305) is a bit trickier but
well worth it. (The ricochet-to-wave thing is much easier to dance than it
is to teach - once you get it, it flows really nicely.)

A short swing on an odd phrase works fine for reasonably experienced
dancers if the tune clearly delineates the phrase and/or the caller
clearly announces the next figure until the dancers get it.
