I get the digest. I have two choices.
1. Reply to the digest mailing. This allows me to clip and reference the
pertinent comments. Doesn't allow me to change the title.
2. Reply to sharedweight.net. I can title, but no letter text goes with me.
I can cut and paste, taking a little extra time.
Moderators, is there a rule I missed? Let me know your preferences. Thanks.

This is a great forum, and I often search over the past posts. We have

few threads
going which have subjects unrelated to their content. "Quadrille Formation
and ONS"
is about dance space. "Callers Digest ... " is uninformative. Please take
care
to change subject when appropriate. Thanks.

New subject: Callers Digest, Vol 79, Issue 20
Hey Keith - just don't get the digest! You're on gmail. If you want not to
get distracted by too much email, use a filter to send all your sharedweight
email into a folder without even letting it show up in your Inbox. Then when
you have a moment, read the mail in that folder. It's like your own
personal digest. I do that with my Facebook mail, because, trust me, I get
distracted.

I think this depends more on what email program you are using than
the details of the list. As you can see I have replied to the message
(quoting the text), modified the subject line, clipped the contents and
added my reply. I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird.

Keith,
Are you using the Gmail interface? See that "Edit Subject" link right below
the "To:" field when you use "Reply"?
Also, Gmail also lets you delete all that irrelevant stuff below your
message in any case.
But I think I like Martha's suggestion better.
