Hi all,
Not long ago, someone posted a really helpful note to this list about how to
remove all the HTML code crap that comes with posts that are combined into a
digest mode email. I didn't have a chance to act on it at the time it was
sent. But I cannot find it now and I cannot remember what I need to do. All
I know is, I'm finding that I've mostly stopped reading these emails because
I can't stand having to decipher the contents. I'd love to fix that once and
for all.
To the person who posted that info, would you please email me directly
(wturnip(a)sympatico.ca <mailto:wturnip@sympatico.ca> ) with the notes about
what I need to do. I virtually hug you in advance.

You're probably remembering Ken Panton's post on August 4th, which said (in
part):
... re gibberish Shared Weight emails. If you are
referring to summary
emails filled with repetitive, annoying unparseable HTML text, I was
seeing the same. A couple of days ago I went to the Shared Weight FAQs
and I refer you to FAQ #5 subsection #6 re setting to MIME. I think it
solved it for me.

Hi Bev and everyone,
I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with this as well. (I was hoping it was a
smaller problem than it's appearing to be.) It's a known bug in this version of
Mailman, and I need to upgrade. Once school starts (Aug 30), it will be on my list of
things to do.
One thing we can try is to switch you from "plain digests" to "mime
digests" (no mimes will be hurt!). Or you could switch to regular emails. Head
