Hi Greg. It's by Roy Dommett. The dance is published as duple improper in "Zesty Contras" by Larry Jennings. It's dance #208 in the book, on page 44. I've typed the instructions and Larry's comments from the book. The code 58CJgi on the second line: I'm not clear on the numbers (one of them is probably the piece count, but someone more familiar with Larry's book can chime in), but according to the book's appendix, C=Significantly unequal; J=Contains figures which have sophisticated flow (English feeling), advanced basics; g=Tends to drift down; i=A short set is preferable. Instead of ducking and backing, a zesty ducking couple can turn under joined arms, let those arms lead them to return, and then unwind as they pull the other couple under for a duck. Roy's knowledge of morris dancing is encyclopedic and his enthusiasm for sharing unlimited; he is an honorary member of the Black Jokers, my morris team, and I couldn't resist including his dance.
