Could you explain what it means to "vote people up?"
It sounds like one would have to be "voted up" to be able to comment.
I'm not sure I would call any of the discussions I've read flooded.

Really, all I wanted was a way we could vote people up, so we could give
more weight to the opinions of the especially respected folks here (and
filter the email flood down to just those people).
I wonder if there's any other way to do that?
