Thank you, Luke, for letting us know. Ralph encouraged me when I was beginning to call
dances in 1988, and was a very welcome presence at NEFFA both as a caller and at his booth
in the crafts hall. I remember dancing at the barn in Hazardville with great fondness..
My sympathy to his family

So sorry to hear. I am grateful to have one of his Irish flutes from way back. It is
imprinted "89" on the back; I always assumed (hoped) that meant "89th flute
made".

Hello all,
Just letting the community know that Ralph Sweet passed away last
week:https://memorials.leetestevens.com/ralph-sweet/3877859/index.php
I hope to keep dancing and calling for as long as he did. An inspiration.
