No - when you are back in 2 lines and normal improper formation each minor set turns one
place to the left - just like any other
Becket dance. At that point you and the other couple that was in your line of 4 are
facing the same direction and each is facing a neighbor couple across the normal contra
line
A big difference in this 4 face 4 dance is you have much less interaction with the other
couple that follows you down the line. You pass them in the hey to trade lines - but that
is all the interaction you have with them.
This dance acts more like a Becket contra except when you cross to the other line in the
hey

Thanks, Mac.
Rephrasing to make sure I understand: after the "turn 1/4", the
couple you're facing would be your partner couple; the ones next to
you in your line of 4 (facing the same direction in the hall) would be
a couple of your neighbors, the other neighbors would be diagonally
across?
Are there other dances that start this way?

good question
Get in 4 face 4 so you recognize the other couple in your line
then take traditional hands 4 in regular contra lines
then turn 1/4 turn to Becket
