Here is one I wrote a few years back. It is easy and has been very well received.
Petronella's Pen - Dave Colestock - 8/2005 (aka Petronella's Pin)
Improper
A1 Balance in a ring of 4, spin or slide 1 place to the right
Balance in a ring of 4, spin or slide 1 place to the right
A2 Balance in a ring of 4
Swing neighbor on the side
B1 Give and Take, Ladies draw partner back to their side (in 4 beats)
Swing Partner (12 beats)
B2 Circle Left 3/4
Balance the Ring
Pass Thru to a New Ring
One does not need to "spin" to move to the right in the A1 - I teach it with a
slide as well. Spinning can be difficult and disorienting for newer dancers.

Looking for easy, accessible, beginner-friendly modern-day/contemporary contra dances with
petronella turns -- with instructions (in addition to dance name and author), if possible.
If this has been discussed before, happy to be pointed to the correct place to look in the
archives. Thanks in advance for the help!
