I have a headset mic that I normally like to use, but

that sits to the side of my lips, meaning that it's great for handling
plosives when not wearing a mask. Wearing a mask pretty much killed both
plosives and sibilance altogether, making my voice pretty much
unintelligible without pretty drastic EQ modifications (both low cuts and
high boosts). Even wearing the mic under the mask (possible with my mic,
not possible with other headsets) didn't help the situation very much.
If you have a headset mic, I'd suggest leaving it at home.

Have you called dances while wearing a mask? If so, I’m interested in your
experience and if you can suggest a particular mask.
Thanks!
