Good morning, Leave it the way it is..
Greater wisdom does not come from contributing to every topic that is
floated through this forum.
Sometimes a question is answered to death.. I see no reason to pile on
advice. Thus we are called "lurkers".
"User Ranks".... takes the community out of the forum.. and the dance.
The dance is a very critical part of our communities... what we contribute
to the dance is important... but no more so than every person in that hall.
Keep the forum open..

One advantage I see is User Ranks: over time, we vote up certain people
because they offer more wisdom. That lets us give greater weight to their
opinions, even though we may not personally know them.
