There has been much said about heys. However, I do not recollect anyone
saying what I consider to be a vital piece of information - keep moving
forward in the direction you start until there is nobody from your group
of four left. Then, and only then, loop/turn round etc and start coming
back. I came to this conclusion having watched lots of new folks trying
to do heys. The most common problem seemed to be that people started
coming back after they passed in the middle. Presenting the wrong
shoulder is inconvenient, but recoverable. Turning back too soon is
very difficult to recover from.
