Re: [Callers] Winter or New Year's themes

Hey all! I found a great one to call this wknd considering the flooding rains we've had here in Northern California this past week: "Dancing Raindrops" by Gene Hubert (Dizzy Dances Vol 1, p.5) I remember dancing it a few months ago. Here's another, though a bit too late for this one: "New Year's Day" by Paul Balliet (Twirling Dervish Returns, Becky Hill, Paul Balliet, Carol Kopp, p. 24) Then again, I suppose most likely only the other callers on the dance floor and perhaps avid dancers really appreciate and listen to the names of the dance and the author?!?!?
