Here are 2 I wrote. The first one appears in California Twirls. The second one isn't a
full hey, but two halves of a full hey, if that's OK.
The Bee's Knees
Duple improper July
17, 1992

A1 Balance in a wave across, women allemande left half way
Balance in a wave, box the gnat with partner (men end back to back in middle)
A2 Hey (pull past partner by right to start)
B1 Gypsy and swing partner
A1 Wave balance (4), half a hey (8), wave balance (4)
B2 Circle left ¾ and pass through
Do-si-do the new neighbor once and a little bit more

Alternate B2:
      Women chain across
Do-si-do the new neighbor once and a little bit more
I like the box the gnat into the hey, and the do-si-do into a wave. I initially wrote it
with the ladies chain, but I like the circle left ¾ version better.
Split Infinity
Duple Improper
July 2011
A1 Wave balance (4), half a hey (8), wave balance (4)
A2 Half a hey
      Swing neighbor
B1 Circle left three quarters
      Swing partner
B2 Circle left three quarters, pass through
      Do-si-do the next

Starts with the women in the center taking left hands for the first wave balance. Women
then pass left shoulder to start the hey. Everyone will switch positions in the wave with
their same sex neighbor when they form the wave again. This requires a bouncy tune, single
jigs useful, or something like Rock the Cradle Joe, to get the balances in both parts of
the A1.

Can anyone send me a dance that doesn't have a forward and back in it? (becket would
be super but I'll take what I can get) with a full hey and also a wave balance?
 ?
 Many thanks in advance?

 How about this one....*
 *

 *Contra House*-- David Giusti*Becket*

Start in short waves, RH to partner, ladies take LH; Ladies are looking
 in their direction of progression

Dance can also start with the Hey and end with the partner swing, which
moves the progression to after the tricky bit.

 *A1***Wave Balance, P Alle R ?, Gents Alle L ?
 Wave Balance, N Alle R ?

 *A2***New N B&S

 *
 *

 *B1*Gents Alle L 1?
 P Sw

 *
 *

Teaching note: After P Sw, give RH to partner, ladies take LH in the
center.Short wave. This is where you're going to end up after this next move.

*B2*Gents pass L Sh to start Hey (GL, NR, LL, PR, GL, NR, Ladies Meet)
When ladies meet in the center for the 2^nd time, catch LH, give RH to P
to form a short wave across

 Try this one.

Warmin Up the Car - Nick Boulet (imp)

start in ocean waves along the side of the set (ladies face out/ men face in)
A1. 4,4 Balance the wave; Nbr allem L 1/2 - ladies now facing in
        8 Ladies chain

 A2 16 Hey for 4 - ladies start passing R

 B1 16 PBS

 B2 8 Circle L 3/4;pass thru up/down
8 new Nbr allem L all way round to ocean waves

Teaching Tip: New Nbr is in your L and former Nbr is in your R
At top of dance tell dancers this is how dance begins and ends - orientation

Good luck. This is one of my "go to" dances for all levels of dancers.
Everyone enjoys the interaction.
