Huh? When did this change happen? "Corner" was the usual term when I
first square danced as a kid in 1960, and in plenty of old 78 rpm
recordings (up to the 50's). There will be style difference from
caller to caller and between regions, and square dance callers are
especially prone to changing terms to make their patter fit with
timing or rhyming.
