PS - At a folk festival barn dance someone called a

I know a version of this as the Dunedin Festival Dance. Wrong Dunedin, though. Sorry.
http://my.strathspey.org/dd/dance/1841/
Mixer for circles (initially of 6)
A1 All circle6 and back
A2 do-si-do partner ; partner swing
B1 RH star (take hands with opposite person in star, new partner) ; After 8 steps of star,
the shorter dance whose hand is lowest moves under to join new P, and repeat till new
couples have separated.
B2 All three “new free couples” Promenade to anywhere in the room to form trio with 2
other couples.
Another dance called the Borrowdale Exchange replaces A2 with:
A2 into middle and back; do-si-do partner
In a tradition recognisable to most here, the dancers at the Dunedin Festival would rather
have a partner swing.
