Jacob, thanks for the dance. If I understand it correctly, you're having
them swing along the set, rather than on the sides of the set?
You're right that Rory & Juliet is a little more advanced than I would
throw at novices. That one was more in mind for the specific gender free
dance I was heading too, which has experienced dancers who eschew gender
roles.
I am interested in forgiving easy dances, but I was also considering (and
writing) gender/role neutral dances for more experienced crowds.
The Montague Gender Free Dance is a fabulous community, and I'm glad for
the opportunity to call for them. It always makes me think about my
calling, and I'd encourage others to call gender free dances when asked.
