Re: [Callers] voting people up

Ryan's distinction between voting people up and voting postings up is an important one. Up-voting a message helps others find the helpful, useful information when there is just too much going on for someone to read all the messages. U-voting People triggers lots of problems that we don't need. Speaking of too much going on, though, this entire discussion has strayed far from the topic of dancing and calling, so we shouldn't spend too much more time on it on this list (Dale says AFTER he got his two cents in (grin)) If there does need to be a change (and I'm not sure that change is needed in this case) the people who want it to happen and are willing to work toward being sure it is done well should probably take the discussion off-line.
