I was in a dance that had a lot of shadow
alemands/do-c-do/gypsy etc. and it built a lot of fun
into the dance.
What was most memorable at the end of the dance was
that the caller broke it off at the end and instead of
a final caling of swing your partner one last time, he
had us SWING our shadow! Very unexpected as a dancer
but a fitting ending to a dance in which shadows
played such a significant role.
