Roll-11 is awesome, and the timing fits like a glove. As for Rockin' Robin,
as Lisa says, "The circle L 1-1/4 takes 12 and each veer only takes 2." The
real timing challenge in Rockin' Robin occurs at the end of A1. Linda Leslie
once pointed out to me that the gents pull-by-the-right must occur during
the last measure of A1. If the men hesitate, then the A2 hey figure also
finishes late, and dancers don't reach their partners on the first beat of
B1 for the balance-and-swing. This matters enough to me that I only call
Rockin' Robin for a group with few beginner dancers. .... Bob
