I would agree with Sam. Having done dances where there was both a dj and contra like
dancing, the djs have to plan variety and also teach line dancing, etc.

amount of work to calling when you're on the floor on the day of the event, but
requires significantly more prep work in advance and more adaptability during the dance
itself. Don't sell yourself short, but don't sell a skilled DJ short either!
