Glad it all worked out for you. FYI ( and everyone else) the Irish refer to
that figure/step as 7s & 3s (trees). It goes: Seven side steps to the
right, do a little polka step in place, 1-2-3, then seven more side steps
back to place and another 1-2-3, thus 7s & 3s. When I do the dance in
March, and sometimes other times, I have everyone chasse 7 steps to the
right, do a little 1-2-3 shuffle, and repeat back to place. Hands by sides
of course. I suppose most good Irish dancing masters are turning over in
their graves. I am not Irish, although there was a Flaherty on my mother's
side, so I hope I am forgiven. Dudley

Thank you so much for all the advice. We danced Waves of the Sea (thanks
Mo!), Haymaker's Jig, Rakes of Mallow, Bridge of Athlone, Thady You Gander,
the Grand March, and a lot of waltzes. The bride danced a solo jig. No 3s
and 7s needed. Thanks again!
