Re: Is there an emerging SD style? Has it a name?

Hello All, I began calling in the early 80s. My early style was most influenced from callers I met at Berea’s Christmas Country Dance School and from Michigan callers I met through the Michigan hammered dulcimer and fiddler gathering. I was also influenced by the late David Park Williams who called in New York until he moved to Michigan. How about we just call it “square dancing” and not worry about a made up generic name.
