Can you say more about how your P115 sounded different from the P105?
Another setting that could be affecting this is reverb, which I believe is
on by default on these Yamaha keyboards but can be turned off and usually
should be turned off for dances:

channels into the mixing board whereas I have only being doing one..... ...
