I agree with you. I found the full poster/flyer quite engaging.
You got me chuckling, Peter, with your critique of a standalone "private parts" flyer. Imagine the fear factor of a newcomer seeing that sign for the first time. Oh, dear; not good.
Also, that flyer adapted from Lindy Hoppers to Contra Dancers might have a red slash through the airborne dancers, lest those who pay attention to images not text think that image shows approval for that mode of swing.
