Rich reminds callers to asses the dancers on the floor when choosing a dance.  I have observed that current callers include 2 swings per iteration and make the dances equal improper duples.  Older dancers may have trouble dealing with all these swings as they travel up or down the line.  Hips, knees, legs tire out.  If there a number of elderly dancers on the floor, include some dances that do not have so many swings.Sylvia Miskoe, Concord NH USA
