A-ha. Maybe check with the client and gently advise. I've run into folks who are new and trying to cover every jot and tittle, but accidentally reading the wrong page of the IRS W-9 form instructions. Or worse.

For those considering this topic, it is very easy to find coverage. Once I saw a message from a CW muster organizer stating that he was about to cancel the event. (It was a meet & greet, no battle re-enactment, just a chance to dress up and march and drill, followed by a dance.) He was not a power internet user, so I went surfing; found him several (cheaper) carriers within an hour.
