John Krumm did this at a wedding dance I attended:

All solo promenade.  Raise your right hand over your head.  Stop the music, face someone, shake hands and introduce yourself. Repeat for a while.

I don't remember what John did exactly after that, but it would lend itself into joining left hands and promenading with this person.  Then leave them and go onj, raise your hand . . .

Or other simple stuff, into a big circle, etc.

Anyone have any 'introduce yourself' dances? A dance way of meeting everyone in the class?

When you stumble, make it part of the dance.
