Portland (Oregon) Country Dance Community has a Board that oversees the individual committees. 

Board members are elected to a 2-year term, and may not serve for more than 6 consecutive years.   The Board chooses the President, Treasurer and Secretary.

Most of the individual committees (English, Contra, Various special events)  do not have term limits.
