All payment methods must require a network connection, wifi or mobile. I’m not confident
e-payments are available for every dance. Mobile connections can be dicey, even in areas
where the major carriers are strong. Small, cheaper networks (MVNOs like Boost, or
Cricket) can have poor signals even when their host network is strong. WiFi is a fallback
if the hall has it available.
I don’t think “e-cash” payment methods charge a fee if the payee is considered personal
and not a business. Apple Cash (not Apple Pay) has free payments for instance.
I may be forking the topic a bit here, but what has been people’s experience with
prepayments through e-ticketing systems?
