Interesting suggestion - we have not tried this because weekend events are not usually
targeted at new dancers. I would think the weekend prices would be too much for someone
who just wants to try it out.
Do you offer special rates for those who want to try it out ( we do let anyone who comes
by try it for free for a dance or 2)

Hi Larry, all the responses sundar are right on. May I suggest you be sure to put your
event on all your local on line calendar of events pages ? Each city had tons! Local
paper, Visitor bureau, Etc. Is there a Meet up group for dance in your area? That might
be a good resource as well.
When new people come to our dances, more often than not they've heard about it
online. Either by local events pages or FB.
I don't have any experience organizing weekend events, but wish you luck! CDSS can be
a great resource too!

I've just become the co-organizer of a dance weekend. Can anyone give
me tips on publicizing the weekend? We'll obviously bring flyers to
nearby dances and dance weekends, but what else should we do?
Thanks!
Larry
