We wanted to share with you all what we think is a fantastic new resource: Contra Connections: A Free Intermediate Contra Dance Workshop Curriculum. Our great friend and caller Alyssa Adkins wrote the curriculum for us last year, and gave the workshop to great reviews. 

We're really excited to make it available for free at www.view from the balcony.org. We think its a great resource, and also has some interesting content in the intro sections (and the section on culture shaping) that may make for some good conversations here. 

Hope folks enjoy, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions, and to Alyssa to get her to come teach it (or teach it yourself of course, its designed for local dances to be able to pick and choose pieces from it, and teach themselves)!
