[Organizers] Re: Help making an ugly hall pretty?

Hi Alex, Are you looking for long-term solutions or a one-time effort for something like a New Year's Eve dance? Do you own the building or have a long-term lease? How much are you allowed to do in there? For starters I would try to capitalize on the white of the walls and the green of the crashpads. Maybe a lighter shade of the crashpad green? How are the hall's acoustics  -  can dance callers be heard intelligibly? A primary focus on acoustics with pretty as a secondary consideration might be a useful approach.
