BIDA's:
* Everyone at the dance must be vaccinated through their first booster, if
eligible.
* If you're not yet eligible for vaccination, due to age or time since
your previous shot, that's fine.
* Boosters beyond the first are not required.
* We check cards at the door (photos ok).
* We can't make exceptions to the requirement that everyone eligible have
their initial shots, but if your doctor has advised you not to get a
booster, or not get one yet, that's ok. Please either email your doctor's
note to bida(a)bidadance.org or bring it with you to the dance.
* Please notify us after if you learn you may have been infectious at the
dance. Without giving your name we'll let the community know by posting on
Facebook, updating our website, and emailing everyone who asked to be
notified.
* Everyone age two and up must wear a high-filtration (N95, KN95, KF94,
etc) mask, except when (a) actively drinking or (b) performing on stage. If
you need to eat, please do so outside. We have temporarily suspended our
potlucks.

I'd put it in the "More Restrictive" category on the list because it
requires high-filtration masks and vax+booster as eligible, but all the
other ones currently in that category include at least one thing this
doesn't (preregistration, testing, vaccinated people in regular contact
with unvaccinated people, etc).

East Lansing, MI Covid policy
*1. Everyone must provide proof of full vaccination and a booster (along
with a photo ID). No exceptions. *
*2. Masks MUST be worn at all times, except when drinking water. Surgical
masks or better yet, N95, or KN95.*
* 3. Everyone will provide contact information after presenting
vaccine credentials — email and phone number. 4. There will be no
snacks. 5. If you are SICK- DO NOT Come.*
We know there is some risk. The covid virus is going to be with us
forever from now on. We need to learn how to mitigate its effects as we do
with flu and live our lives. Being vaccinated and boosted does not prevent
one from getting sick, but it does lead to a significantly milder
infection. Each individual needs to evaluate their own risk tolerance and
decide whether to attend or not. We hope you will come and are looking
forward to dancing together again.
So far (we started dancing again in March 2022) we know of no one who has
gotten sick from a dance.

Hi all,
We at the Monadnock Folklore Society are figuring out our restart and
therefore also our COVID policies.
As research, I made a Google Doc with a bunch of different policies from
various groups, that I thought were well-worded at the various different
levels of restrictions.

Sharing here in case it helps others.
Once we figure ours out, I’ll add it to the list.
If you think your group has a well-worded COVID policy that provides a
different nuance from these others, please send me the info and I’ll add it.
Best,
Lisa
