"This Old Man" works fine, and I often fall back on that if I am working with a band that isn't prepared to play Jenny Lind (a personal favorite). "This Old Man" is easy and everyone knows it! If you are working with musicians who can pull it off, try requesting a change in key (up), every time they notch up the tempo!
