Bob & Seth,
 
I downloaded the files at work and opened them in Word (version 2002) and all of the special characters were there.
 
I have the tools at home to convert them to PDF. I will do that either late tonight or first thing in the morning and post them again.
 
Sorry for the problems!

Yes, they came through broken for me too.  (Good eye, Bob!)  I will
work with Chris to convert the documents to PDF and resend them.  That
should take care of any Word oddities.
