I don't do much choreography, but I do occasionally need to understand how a dance works, so I designed and laser cut myself a set of acrylic tokens for walking through dances as well as a dance floor with a grid: https://www.flickr.com/photos/chromamine/54530268274/

They're each labeled with a role (R or L for Robin and Lark or, if you prefer, Right-hand role and Left-hand role) and a couple number (1 through 4) which are also indicated by shape and color, respectively as well. I sometimes lose track of left and right when I'm using them so I have plans for a future iteration to also engrave a tiny L and R on each token to indicate where their left and right hand would be.

John, you talked about the Peebles of Carcassonne once on this list. Since then, I bought the game, had a lot of fun with it, and now use the Peebles as well.

And if you are in France, do visit Carcassonne (not during high season) and the surrounding region. It's beautiful...

That third one is "Contra Dance Designer", which links to
which no longer exists.
But the Internet Archive captured it a few times, most recently at:
so you can see it there.

Mind you, it doesn't work very well, if at all, but one could possibly glean
something from the code. I seem to recall that it assumed Internet Explorer,
and never worked well in other browsers.
