Instagram (haven't tried it)

Facebook Groups of all sorts

Meetup (tried it - got hundreds of members - a few tried it - no-one continued)

Local Supermarkets/Stores with Community Notice-Boards

 

Of course not all are relevant to dance weekends where you are trying to attract experienced dancers.

 

It is a lot of work to cover all the bases, with very little return in most cases.  The vast majority of people hear about it through the Web or via Word of Mouth.
