[Organizers] Calling contra in French?

Nobody seems to have mentioned it yet, but Susan called a regular Friday night dance in Greenfield in the 90s when she was living in Brattleboro. She has a PhD in French Literature… and a marvelous stage presence. And even in that crowd she would slip into French when she was calling (but not when she was doing the walk throughs.)
