I picked this dance up a few years ago at Glen Echo, and I don't remember who was calling or playing that night. </div><div>The dance was becket (I think) and it had a series of ladies chains (straight across and diagonally) that sent the ladies far away from their partner (possibly to a shadow or trail buddy) and then in a series of circles and pass thru partners where reunited with a swing. The caller taught this dance by having the ladies imagine they were pinballs, and the gents the pinball flippers (i.e. ladies are zooming around inside the contra lines while the gents send them in new directions).
