[Callers] Favorite NWT dances

Kalia, I often call a NWT dance at that same point.. The dancers are all "wiggly" and just don't want to hear someone else (the caller) talk to (at) them.. At this point I just call something totally easy, and a dance that has both a partner and neighbor balance and swing - take your pick - I often use David Kaynor's "Baby Rose".. Another good spot for a NWT dance is when the previous dance was maybe a little too difficult for the crowd and things broke down or at least didn't go smoothly.. At this point I want to get dancers dancing right away so they aren't thinking about the previous dance any more.

Subject: [Callers] Favorite NWT dances

Hi all

There's often a long announcement segment toward the end of the first
half at many of our local dances, and I've been figuring that after all
that talk, folks just want to dance. The first time I tried doing a NWT
in that slot, it got a great response. So for those of you who call
no-walk-through dances, do you have any particular favorites? I'd love
to add a few more good candidates to my collection.

Kalia Kliban
